Merrilee Boyack is an estate-planning attorney, author, and advocate for families. For over 30 years she has been a professional lecturer speaking all over the country, featured for many years at BYU Education Week and Time Out for Women speaking to large crowds about family, parenting, and religious topics.
Merrilee is a prolific author and has written over a dozen books on topics ranging from parenting and family to service and spiritual development.
Merrilee has previously served as a city councilwoman and deputy mayor in her city. More recently, she has been serving as president of the Utah chapter of Family Watch International and executive director of the worldwide organization, working to protect the family at the international level at the United Nations while also engaging on political issues that affect the family here in Utah. She founded and chairs Abortion-Free Utah to protect the life of the unborn and has also created the Empowered Families Coalition of pro-family organizations in Utah to support family and traditional values. Merrilee is a passionate community activist working to protect traditional values and liberties.
Merrilee graduated with High Honors from Brigham Young University with a degree in Business Management—Finance and was a summa cum laude graduate from University of Santa Clara Law School. She and her husband Steve live in Lehi and have four adult sons and two grandchildren who live in the area.
